Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development and Capture Manager specializing in Federal contracts. This role is vital in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading capture efforts for federal projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, strategic planning, and project management within the federal sector, with a focus on expanding our market presence and securing new contracts.

Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies tailored to the federal marketplace.
  • Lead capture efforts for potential federal contracts, including proposal development and bid management.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with federal agencies, partners, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities.
  • Utilize Salesforce and CRM software to track leads, manage contacts, and analyze market trends.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns that support business growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to federal clients.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment of business development activities with operational capabilities.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing strategies to maximize win probability while maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
  • Monitor industry developments and maintain a thorough understanding of federal procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development within the federal sector, with a strong track record of securing government contracts.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM software for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent strategic planning, sales, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with government agencies and industry partners.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in marketing strategies tailored to government clients is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; advanced certifications are advantageous. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $79,536.65 - $95,786.08 per year
