Job Description: Business Development Officer / Key Accounts Officer

Business Development Officer

· Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

· Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

· Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

· Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

· Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders

· Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople

· Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services

· Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Key Accounts Officer

  • Act as the primary point of contact between key customers and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key customers of the company
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the needs and requirements of key customers.
  • Promptly address and resolve complaints from key customers, devising customized solutions as necessary.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various teams, including design, marketing, social media, sales, and operations, to ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Internally liaise with the GM, procurement and lab team or any other department to facilitate your work including the graphic designers.
  • Provide management with regular reports detailing the progress of accounts, including updates on goals and targets.
  • Engage with potential key customers, presenting proposals during meetings.
  • Negotiate contracts with key customers, incorporating deadlines for deliverables.
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the management.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

· 5 or more years of sales experience (digital and traditional)

· 5 or more years of business development and accounts management experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) and CRM and CMS software.

· Experience using analytics software.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

· Highly organized and detail oriented.

· Proven record of sales growth

· Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field

· Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques

· Exceptional project management skills

· Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
