About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support Newspoint.
This is a business role with strong execution ownership combining partnership development,
strategy, and project management skills. You’ll work closely with leadership to turn ideas into
outcomes from identifying partners and building business cases to coordinating internal delivery and tracking progress.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working across strategy, partnerships, and cross-
functional execution, and wants to build hands-on experience in digital business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Partnerships
● Identify, and evaluate, nurture new partnership and monetisation opportunities across Newspoint.
● Prepare proposals/decks, partner evaluations, and performance reports to support negotiations
and decisions.
● Manage active partner relationships, ensuring timely follow-ups and smooth execution.
● Track market trends, competition, and category insights to identify growth opportunities.
2. Business Planning & Project Management
● Support the creation of business plans, revenue models, and growth roadmaps.
● Build and maintain trackers and dashboards to monitor KPIs and delivery milestones.
● Coordinate with internal teams Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, Editorial to ensure timely
execution.
● Drive accountability across teams and ensure projects move from plan to completion.
3. Research & Insights
● Conduct market research and data analysis to support business strategy and partner evaluation.
● Prepare concise briefs, competitor benchmarks, and insight reports for leadership review.
● Contribute to strategic presentations and notes on emerging digital and media trends.
4. Communication & Reporting
● Prepare weekly updates, meeting notes, and progress reports for leadership.
● Support business reviews and partner presentations.
● Maintain clear documentation and version control for all active projects.

Minimum Qualifications Required
● Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
● 1-5 years of experience in business development, strategy, or partnerships.
● Exposure to digital media, consumer tech, or startup environments preferred.
