The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Executive who is deeply knowledgeable about the data services ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a "hunter" with a proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex, long-cycle B2B deals, specifically in selling data extraction and data processing services to enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Lead Generation
- Target Market Mastery: Conduct thorough market research to identify and target high-value prospects within strategic verticals (e-commerce, health tech, fin-tech, real estate, government) that require large-scale, custom data solutions.
- Strategic Outreach: Generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, networking, and attending industry events (virtual/in-person).
- Needs Assessment: Consult with senior stakeholders (C-level, Directors of Data/Analytics, Heads of Product) to deeply understand their data challenges related to competitive intelligence, market research, risk analysis, compliance, etc.
Sales & Relationship Management
- Solution Selling: Articulate and present the complex value proposition of ETS’s Web Data Scraping, Data Mapping, and Data Processing capabilities, positioning them as tailored solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling, customized proposals and pitch decks that clearly define the scope of work, technical approach, ROI, and pricing strategy for data service projects.
- Deal Negotiation: Lead negotiations, manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure, and meet or exceed all monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets (KPIs).
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to drive repeat business, upsells, and strategic partnerships.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the Technical/Development Team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, accurately scoped, and successfully transition from sales to delivery.
- Strategy Input: Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence, and industry trends to the leadership and product teams to guide the development of new service offerings.
- CRM Management: Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for all sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of proven success in a B2B sales or business development role, specifically selling Data-as-a-Service (DaaS), SaaS, or custom technology/data solutions.
- Domain Expertise (MANDATORY): A strong, demonstrable understanding of the fundamentals of Web Data Scraping/Web Crawling, Data Structuring/Mapping, and Data Processing. The ability to speak confidently and accurately about data quality, legality/compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and anti-scraping countermeasures is critical.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Mindset: Highly motivated "hunter" mentality, entrepreneurial spirit, and a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales experience engaging with stakeholders in E-commerce, Health Tech, or Finance sectors.
- Familiarity with data intelligence platforms and analytics tools.
- Proficiency with modern CRM and sales automation tools.

Pay: ₹12,185.32 - ₹42,448.78 per month
