Roles & Responsibilities: -
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations, pricing and finance to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
- Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience Required: -
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding and container transportation.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
