Job Summary

One of our clients are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the real estate sector, particularly with government and private-sector tenders and the acquisition and management of mega projects (e.g. residential communities, commercial towers, mixed-use developments, infrastructure-related real estate ventures). The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the industry, proven deal-closing capabilities, and a strategic mindset to identify and drive growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business opportunities in real estate, focusing on large-scale and high-value projects.

Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and bids for public and private sector projects.

Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, government entities, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to assess opportunities and risks in new developments.

Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals.

Negotiate joint ventures, partnerships, and commercial agreements for real estate developments.

Monitor real estate mega project pipelines across the region and position the company for upcoming opportunities.

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., legal, finance, project management) to ensure successful project onboarding and execution.

Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and business leads.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or related field. (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.)

5+ years of experience in business development within the real estate industry, with a strong focus on tenders and large-scale projects.

Proven track record of successful bid wins and closing deals for multi-million-dollar projects.

Strong understanding of real estate development cycles, land acquisition, and project financing.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Well-connected in the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors, especially within government and large private-sector entities.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and tender management tools.
