Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving growth across the holding company’s diverse portfolio, including F&B, construction, and real estate sectors. The role involves market research, deal sourcing, relationship building, and supporting strategic expansion initiatives to strengthen the group's market position and long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Business Development
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across F&B, construction, and real estate sectors.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-value prospects, partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Work with leadership to align business development strategies with group-wide goals.
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to support expansion and investment decisions.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and market dynamics to identify growth areas.
Partnerships & Negotiations
- Build strong relationships with potential partners, suppliers, developers, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Lead or support negotiations for contracts, franchise agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
Proposal & Investment Planning
- Prepare business cases, financial models, and presentations for proposed projects or ventures.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to evaluate risks, returns, and compliance requirements.
Cross-Sector Coordination
- Liaise with F&B, construction, and real estate business unit heads to understand operational needs and expansion plans.
- Ensure alignment of new business initiatives with operational capabilities and resource planning.
Project Execution Support
- Support the launch and integration of new business projects or acquisitions.
- Track performance and ROI of new initiatives and provide strategic feedback to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–7+ years of proven experience in business development, preferably across multiple sectors including F&B, construction, or real estate.
- Solid understanding of market dynamics in GCC or [your region, if different].
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze business opportunities quantitatively.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
