Business Development Manager

Job Description*

*Role & Responsibilities:*

• Implements the recommendations of the strategic business development plan.
• Conducts market research and analysis specific to civil engineering projects and sectors.
• Evaluates operational challenges to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry trends.
• Monitors external and internal environments to identify new market segments for civil engineering services.
• Develops and manages the business development budget.
• Manages specific corporate programs related to civil engineering projects.
• Ensures effective control of business development results, taking corrective actions to achieve objectives within allocated budgets.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
• Supports and promotes the company’s mission, vision, values, and ethical standards.
• Assists in planning events that highlight civil engineering capabilities.
• Optimizes the company's participation in relevant civil engineering trade groups and associations.
• Assists in developing processes for gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders.
• Represents the company through public speaking engagements related to civil engineering, business development, and industry trends.
• Meets with key clients, supporting sales representatives in maintaining relationships and negotiating deals.
• Manages the entire RFP process and workflow for civil engineering projects.

*Preferred Candidate Profile:*

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in the civil engineering industry.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing RFQ (Request for Quotation) proposals.
• Strong relationships within the local market, particularly with developers, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities.
• Proven track record in identifying and securing civil engineering project opportunities.
• Familiarity with Construction Management at Risk (CM at Risk) delivery method.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player with a professional demeanor and presentation.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
