Job Responsibilities

This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the dietary supplement, food, and beverage ingredient industries.

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and prospecting new customers within the dietary supplement, food, and beverage industries.
  • Proactively follow up and close deals to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth through proactive account management and new business development.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, quotes, and product proposals to customers.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through consistent follow-up, relationship building, and providing excellent service.
  • Understand customers’ ingredient needs and provide sourcing or technical solutions in collaboration with the QA/QC and procurement teams.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments including QA/QC, Purchasing, Operations, and Logistics to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales support team to ensure timely communication, accurate information flow, and continuous improvement in customer experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of sales experience in the nutraceutical, food, beverage, ingredient, or finished product industry — experience in ingredient distribution is a plus but not required. 3+ Years Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both U.S. and overseas teams.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) to manage pipeline and customer records.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A team player who can collaborate cross-functionally with QA/QC, Purchasing, and Operations teams.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
