Role Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the entire business development function, setting the department’s strategic direction, identifying high-value growth opportunities, establishing key partnerships, and ensuring the company’s sustainable growth—particularly within the construction and contracting sectors.
Qualifications

Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships, and projects.

Build and maintain high-level relationships with government entities, developers, consultants,

and major contractors. Supervise the preparation of competitive proposals and tender submissions for major projects.

Review and approve project evaluation models and feasibility studies.

Lead high-level negotiations to secure strategic partnerships and project awards.

Analyze market trends and competitors to refine business strategies.

Set performance goals for the business development team and monitor their execution.

Represent the company in strategic meetings, exhibitions, and forums.

Collaborate closely with executive management in setting revenue targets and business goals.

Oversee client relationship management efforts to ensure client satisfaction and long term partnerships.

Mentor and develop the capabilities of the business development team.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.

Deep knowledge of the Saudi market, especially in construction and public/private tendering processes.

Proven track record of winning major projects and closing strategic deals.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Excellent communication in both Arabic and English.

Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and market intelligence platforms.
