Job Description: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline management to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.19 - $42.37 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
