About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced (Omani) - Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our IT offshore sales activities in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a BD team, and building strong long-term client relationships across multiple markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Growth
- Lead offshore IT sales initiatives and ensure ongoing revenue growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, business plans, and forecasts.
- Acquire new clients and maximize business from existing customers.
- Manage international leads and adjust to cross-timezone communication when needed.
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a Business Development team of 10+ members.
- Define targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent performance.
- Ensure team alignment with organizational expectations and goals.
- Provide coaching, support, and continuous development for the team.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
Operational & Reporting Activities
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.
- Maintain high-quality organizational practices and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Operate with minimal supervision while remaining proactive and results-driven.
Tools & Technology Utilization
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong experience with CRM tools- especially HubSpot:
- Lead & contact management
- Pipeline and deal tracking
- Email/call tracking
- Meeting scheduling
- Workflow & task automation
- AI-powered tools like Breeze for enhanced prospecting
- Ability to integrate CRM with sales, marketing, and operational tools.
- Capable of using dashboards, forecasting tools, multichannel outreach automation, and analytics.
Profile Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT offshore sales & marketing.
- Experience managing a BD team of 10+ professionals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and IT fluency.
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Organized, multitasking, proactive, and target-driven.
- Comfortable using modern CRM systems (HubSpot or equivalent).
- Self-driven, ambitious, and committed to achieving KPIs.
The role follows a combined compensation model consisting of a fixed monthly salary and a commission plan linked to revenue generation and KPI achievement.
