Penta Express, a fast-growing international courier and logistics company, is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead strategic sales initiatives and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field sales within the international courier/logistics industry and a proven ability to secure and manage B2B clients. This is a results-driven role focused on revenue growth, client acquisition, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new B2B customers, including exporters, importers, and eCommerce businesses.
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline through CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Conduct high-level client meetings, business presentations, and contract negotiations with key decision-makers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers to support retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Train, mentor, and support Business Development Executives (BDEs) to enhance team productivity.
  • Represent Penta Express at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums to strengthen brand visibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Logistics from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of field sales experience in the international courier or logistics industry (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue and shipment volume targets.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to apply consultative selling and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driving license with a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
