Job Description

SOTA is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, experience in selling analytical products, and a passion for football analytics. Fluency in Arabic, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to travel within the assigned territory are essential for success in this role.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Secure contacts with key decision-makers and stakeholders within sports leagues, clubs, and associations in the MENA region.
  • Conduct customer outreach and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Conduct pre-sales research to identify opportunities and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of SOTA's products and services.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop customized sales strategies and proposals.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide continuing support to clients, assessing their experience with SOTA products to better understand and identify additional end-uses, and to increase overall value to current and future clients.
  • Foster growth in new business and sustain existing contracts by executing diverse strategies, such as conducting comprehensive product demonstrations. This encompasses exploring opportunities for expanding product usage and enhancing service offerings to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, to optimize sales efforts and drive revenue growth.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results, providing regular updates to management.
     

Requirements
 

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with experience in selling analytical products preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the sports industry, particularly football analytics.
  • Fluent in Arabic, with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Existing relationships or network within the target client base is a plus.
  • Readiness to work with representatives of other sports (volleyball, basketball, etc.)
  • Ability to pursue negotiations with government bodies (Ministry of Sport, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, etc.)
