About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead sales and marketing initiatives, expand business opportunities, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in generating revenue, managing key accounts, and driving long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and agencies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and revenue.
  • Conduct market research to understand emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and pricing plans.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle—prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closure, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, marketing) to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track performance metrics, generate reports, and forecast future sales projections.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales & Marketing, preferably in the digital, IT, media, or advertising industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA preferred (not mandatory).
