To accelerate this growth, we’re hiring a Dubai-based Business Development Manager to drive our commercial expansion across the GCC region.


Role Description

As our Business Development Manager – UAE & GCC , you will be the frontline driver of regional growth . You’ll combine your network in electronics / hardware with our category-defining exoskeleton products to:

● Build and scale a strong channel & partner ecosystem (distributors, retailers, system integrators)

● Open new verticals : outdoor & sports retail, robotics/AI tech partners, industrial safety, and search & rescue–related applications

● Help turn exoskeletons from a “new technology” into an everyday mobility tool for the region.

This is a hands-on, commercially driven role ideal for a hunter-type business developer who loves both cutting-edge tech and real-world field work.


Key Responsibilities

1.Market Development and Strategy:

●  Develop and execute the commercial strategy in UAE and GCC , in alignment with the Head of MEA and global leadership.

● Map and prioritize high-potential segments:

○     Outdoor & sporting goods retailers and distributors

○     Robotics / mobility tech integrators and labs

○     Industrial safety, logistics, and infrastructure operators

○     Government, police, law enforcement entities, and search & rescue organizations

Build annual and quarterly sales plans, revenue targets, and pipeline goals for the region.


2. Channel & Partner Sales

● Identify, recruit, and onboard distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners for the exoskeleton product line.

● Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, rebates, and exclusivity where appropriate.

● Co-design and execute joint business plans with key partners (sell-in / sell-through targets, marketing activities, training).

Monitor channel performance, resolve conflicts, and optimize margin structures.


3.Key Accounts & Vertical Solutions

● Open and manage strategic key accounts , especially in:

○     Outdoor/adventure brands and chains

○     Sports & performance coaching centers

○     Robotics / AI solution providers

○     SAR, mountain rescue and emergency response teams

● Understand each customer’s use cases (e.g., long-range foot patrols, mountain search operations, desert endurance challenges) and position exoskeleton products and modes accordingly.

●  Lead product demos, field trials, and pilot projects in real terrain (desert, mountains, industrial sites).


4. Go-to-Market & Marketing Support

●  Work with global marketing to localize brand and messaging for the GCC audience.

●  Organize and represent the company at trade shows, outdoor events, robotics conferences and SAR-related exhibitions .

●   Generate customer case studies, testimonials, and reference projects from the region.


5. Forecasting, Reporting & Internal Collaboration

●   Develop the regional sales forecast , maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline, and regularly report progress vs targets to the Head of MEA.

●  Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams on local market needs, regulatory requirements, and new use cases .

●   Collaborate closely with operations / logistics on inventory planning, lead times, and after-sales service in the region.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with proven track record of sales success  in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the UAE and GCC regions ( experience in consumer electronics, mobility solutions, industrial equipment, or outdoor/sports equipment would be a plus)
  • Hands-on experience structuring distribution agreements, managing resellers, and building new channels from zero
  • Strong hunter mindset with the ability to independently open doors and close deals
  • Comfortable selling technical products – able to learn exoskeleton features, specs and modes and explain them clearly to both technical and non-technical buyers
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
  • Willing to travel 30–50% within GCC for client visits, demos, trials and events
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic and/or Hindi are strong advantages
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Robotics, Sports Science, or related fields
