About Us

MeasuringU is a Denver-based UX research and consulting firm that helps top brands make data-driven product decisions. We also build MUiQ, our proprietary, enterprise-level platform for usability testing, surveys, and other UX research methods. MUiQ enables organizations to collect both qualitative and quantitative insights all in one platform. We are passionate about improving digital experiences at scale and are trusted for our methodological rigor and team of expert researchers.

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to serve as a vital, dual-function bridge between our Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.

This is a hybrid role with a 50/50 split of responsibilities:

  • Business Development (50%): You will be responsible for actively generating new, qualified sales pipeline through hands-on, multi-channel cold outreach for our MUiQ SaaS platform and UX research services.
  • Coordination (50%): You will provide critical operational support, create sales enablement content (like case studies), and optimize the systems that support the sales cycle.

You will not only be creating new opportunities but also optimizing the processes and creating the content that enables the entire revenue team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

This role is evenly divided into two core functions:

1. Business Development (50%)Your objective is to efficiently generate qualified sales pipeline and book product demonstrations for our sales team.

  • Pipeline Building: Research and build a list of target accounts and contacts. Execute high-volume, multi-channel prospecting (email, LinkedIn) to engage key decision-makers within those accounts.
  • Messaging Collaboration: Work with the in-house sales team to develop, test, and refine strategic outreach messaging.
  • Lead Qualification & Hand-off: Qualify leads against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and schedule/confirm discovery calls and product demos for our sales team, ensuring a seamless handoff.

2. Marketing & Sales Coordination (50%) Your objective is to create high-value sales assets, manage our top-of-funnel systems, and provide insights to optimize the sales process.

  • Content Enablement & Creation:
  • Lead the creation of compelling customer case studies and success stories. This includes interviewing recently closed clients and working with the Sales/Marketing team to draft and finalize the collateral.
  • Track the usage and effectiveness of sales-facing content (e.g., pitch decks, case studies) and report to the Sales/Marketing team on which assets are driving the most pipeline.
  • Operations & Systems Management:
  • Own the integrity of the Sales CRM for all top-of-funnel activities. This includes logging all activities, managing data quality, and ensuring all prospecting activities are accurately tracked.
  • Design and maintain dashboards to track critical metrics (e.g., outreach volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution).
  • Identify and flag bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the lead-to-opportunity flow and propose solutions to improve the Marketing and Sales handoff.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

  • Proven Experience: A demonstrable track record (2+ years) in a SDR/BDR role and/or Sales/Marketing Operations role, preferably within an enterprise-level SaaS environment.
  • Track Record: Proven success in booking qualified meetings and a demonstrable track record of successfully generating qualified sales pipeline.
  • CRM Mastery: Strong proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshsales), including experience with reporting, data governance, and minor administrative tasks.
  • Outreach Expertise: Expertise in multi-channel prospecting and outreach strategies (email, LinkedIn, cold calls).
  • Content Aptitude: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to create and edit sales-focused content, such as case studies.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to collect, analyze, and translate quantitative data (metrics) into qualitative insights and actionable strategies.
  • Work Ethic: Exceptional self-management, organization, and a demonstrated ability to succeed in a results-oriented, independent environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge or interest in the User Experience (UX) and software industry is a significant advantage.
