Business Development Officer

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Officer to support client acquisition for our expanding waste management company in Kochi. This is a field-focused role involving visits to corporate offices, institutions, and commercial establishments to promote our waste collection and recycling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and visit potential clients including offices, IT parks, clinics, restaurants, and other commercial establishments
• Explain waste management and recycling services to decision-makers
• Convert leads into service contracts and support seamless client onboarding
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure renewals and retention
• Achieve monthly sales and client acquisition targets
• Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and sales activities
• Submit daily and weekly activity reports to the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of field sales experience (B2B, industrial, or facility services experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English; Hindi is an added advantage
• Willingness to travel across Kochi for client visits
• Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated approach
• Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
