Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to support our Business Development Leaders in generating leads and growing our business. Your responsibilities will include conducting market analysis, reaching out to prospects, generating leads and sales, maintaining client relationships, addressing client needs, researching, and attending events, and performing various administrative tasks.

Success in this role requires enjoying a fast-paced team environment, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, and being comfortable with regular pitching and presentations to customers.

Duties

  • Developing and executing sales strategies and exploring new market opportunities.

  • Conducting research and participating in events relevant to the construction industry.

  • Cultivating and nurturing customer relationships through various channels: email, phone, and face-to-face interaction.

  • Supporting in the creation and delivery of presentations and pitches to potential clients.

  • Managing client databases and mailing lists to ensure effective communication.

  • Monitoring proposal submissions and offering insights to management.

  • Delivering efficient administrative assistance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, and/or construction or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience with some marketing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Exceptional ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Superior communication skills: both written and verbal; expresses self clearly and effectively; uses proper organization and grammar in written communication.
  • Exceptional presentation skills; effectively prepares formal presentations of ideas and proposals; effectively expresses self to groups and individuals.
  • Is persuasive; uses appropriate methods and styles of communication to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, or product.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other related software.
  • Salesforce administrative duties. Salesforce experience preferred.
  • The ability to travel up to 15% required.
  • Professional affiliation preferred.
  • Community service affiliation preferred.
