Position Overview:
Polonez America is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative who will focus on expanding our retail and agent network across the Midwest, targeting small to medium-sized businesses. This role requires a combination of territory sales, business development with community engagement, relationship management. The ideal candidate will excel at developing partnerships, representing the brand at events, helping increase brand visibility, and driving measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, analyze local markets to identify high-demand areas with limited retail presence.
- Develop and implement territory growth strategies aligned with business objectives and company goals.
- Drive new business through cold calling, outreach visits, networking, and in-person sales presentations.
- Build, maintain and strengthen strong, lasting relationships with existing partners to ensure retention and growth.
- Reactivate inactive accounts by identifying challenges and offering tailored solutions.
- Ensure brand consistency and visibility across partner locations.
- Manage agent agreements and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Provide partners with equipment troubleshooting support and training on Polonez services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams as operations, marketing, and IT to improve partner satisfaction and support partner success.
- Represent Polonez-America at trade shows, community events, industry meetings, and networking activities.
- Monitor business operations and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, account acquisition, or related roles.
- Bilingual fluency in Polish and English Languages.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to consistently close deals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Ability to build trust, maintain client relationships, and drive retentions.
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Solid analytical skills to evaluate market trends and business potential.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and project coordination abilities to foster trust with clients and teams.
Compensation: $65,000/Annually + Commission ($1000/per new agent, when accepts 50+ parcels)
Required:
- Work Requirements: Field/Office Setting (No WFH or Hybrid)
- Willing to travel up to 70% within the Midwest region (mileage reimbursement available when using a personal vehicle for business purposes) and spend approximately 30% of the time at the Schaumburg office.
Preferred:
- 3-5 Years of Sales/BD Experience
- 3-5 Years of Parcel/Logistics/Freight Industry Experience
