Business Development & Tendering Engineer / Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Experience:
8+ years (with proven experience in Civil, Interior Fit-out, and Construction projects in Saudi Arabia / GCC region)
Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Saudi market across civil and interior sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with consultants, contractors, and government entities.
- Prepare and present technical & commercial proposals to potential clients.
- Track ongoing and upcoming projects, tenders, and market trends in KSA.
- Coordinate with management to set sales targets and strategies to achieve business growth.
- Represent the company in client meetings, exhibitions, and business networking events.
Tendering & Estimation:
- Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, and engineering) for accurate cost estimation.
- Prepare competitive bids, proposals, and technical submissions within deadlines.
- Manage pre-tender and post-tender clarifications and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, local regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a database of vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for pricing and project support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of Saudi construction market, regulations, and tendering processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and tendering software/tools.
- Valid Saudi driving license preferred.
- Transferable Iqama is an added advantage.
