Job Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Business Operations Lead to join a mission-driven team redefining the $1.3 trillion electronics industry. With a platform used by over 2 million engineers annually—and a new AI-powered product in development—this company is scaling rapidly and building with urgency.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role designed for an operations leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings both strategy and execution to the table, and is excited to collaborate across all areas of the business. You’ll be central to operational excellence, supporting every function from revenue and finance to recruiting, systems, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Finance & Revenue Operations

  • Oversee payroll, budgeting, expense management, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
  • Manage revenue processes including quotes, agreements, and vendor forms via HubSpot and Stripe.
  • Maintain financial dashboards and forecasts; analyze and action financial reports.
  • Support collections by managing aging reports, purchase orders, and credit tracking.
  • Administer the company’s equity platform (Carta) and optimize GTM systems and workflows.

Recruiting & People Operations

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, posting, pipeline management, and onboarding.
  • Support hiring managers with tools, processes, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with onboarding, enablement, and legal requirements.

Systems & Strategic Execution

  • Automate operational workflows using low/no-code tools.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation in Notion, SOPs, and Google Drive.
  • Manage quarterly OKRs/KPIs and support executive planning processes.
  • Track organizational SLAs and oversee legal contract workflows.

Office & General Business Operations

  • Manage vendor and insurance relationships, office logistics, and operational infrastructure.
  • Oversee daily office needs including inventory, facilities, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading business operations at a venture-backed startup (seed or Series A preferred).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple workflows, and adapt quickly.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful problem-solver with a growth mindset.
  • High standards of operational excellence and accountability.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
