Fast-growing International company in Glebe, Polyglot Group is looking for its next business services manager to manage their own portfolio of clients as well as lead a team of 2 Accountants. You will be comfortable in being the first point of contact for clients to advise & service them. You will be supported by your team members reporting directly to you.

This role is a hands on role and requires the manager to be responsible for the tax, accounting and business compliance work for a diverse and broad international client base.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
  • Assist the Head of Corporate Services in managing and supervising the Business Solution team and deliveries to clients
  • Be the first point of contact for all new prospects. Assess their needs, organise proposal and manage the onboarding for new clients prior to delegating to your team
  • Manage ongoing relationship with clients
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients - accounting reporting and tax compliance deliveries
  • Provide business and tax advice pertaining to your clients
  • Assist/review preparation of BAS/IAS, FBT and Corporate IT returns as required
  • Coordinate preparation of monthly client billing
  • Manage your team resources to help you achieve deliverables
  • Development of internal processes and procedures
  • Assist the team as an accounting and tax technical resource
  • Positively contributing to a fast-growing business services company in Australia
Qualifications
  • CPA qualification or equivalent
  • Tax agent (not mandatory but prefered)
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a similar role within the business services environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislation
  • Experience in dealing with international businesses
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong client service skills
  • Experience in using Xero, Windows Excel, Windows Word, and MYOB will be a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong team player who is eager to learn new tasks, systems, processes and software
