Role overview

We are currently supporting one of our clients in hiring an experienced Business Studies and Economics Teacher to teach senior secondary students. This is a full-time, remote teaching role focused on live online instruction, lesson design, student mentoring, and assessment preparation. The teacher will handle structured cohort-based classes, use digital platforms for content delivery, and work closely with Learning Coordinators to ensure academic consistency for students during tournaments, practice sessions, and training schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online classes for senior secondary students in Business Studies and Economics
• Prepare lesson plans, weekly schedules, assessments, and question papers aligned with ICSE/CBSE standards
• Develop engaging study materials such as presentations, worksheets, and assignments
• Track and support students’ academic growth through regular evaluations and feedback
• Support students through mentoring sessions and periodic parent-teacher meetings
• Maintain class discipline and ensure effective use of the LMS and digital teaching tools
• Collaborate with Learning Coordinators for attendance tracking, assignment management, and schedule updates

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Business Studies, or a related discipline
• Relevant teaching experience for ICSE/CBSE senior secondary grade students
• Experience in online teaching and student engagement in a virtual classroom
• Familiarity with ICSE curriculum standards and NIOS teaching methods
• Proficiency in MS Office and online platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype
• B.Ed. qualification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
