Description:

We are seeking a proactive, systems-savvy Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance our Epicor ERP (GovCloud-hosted), manage existing integrations with Salesforce CRM and Arena PLM, and drive better decision-making through data analysis and reporting. This role works closely with business users to understand needs, document requirements, troubleshoot issues, build real-time reporting and insights to be presented on Sharepoint and supports the development of solutions that reduce manual work and improve-decision-making.

The position blends ERP support, cross-functional systems assistance, and business intelligence development, with occasional backup responsibilities for IT support, especially as it relates to ERP and BI related matters. Over time, the role may expand to support future enterprise applications (e.g., MES, Workday, QMS), building scalable integrations and data visibility and access as the company grows.

Salary Range: $74,700.00-$106,000.00

Requirements:

Enterprise Systems Analysis & Business Support

  • Support discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand user needs, identify gaps, and evaluate opportunities for system-based solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on system changes.

Epicor ERP Support & Administration

  • Serve as the main support resource for Epicor ERP (GovCloud) questions, troubleshooting, and user assistance with backup from IT on user configuration and ticket management.
  • Help maintain reports and dashboards using native Epicor tools (BAQs, dashboards, functions) to support reporting and workflow needs.
  • Assist with documenting common issues and support procedures.
  • Build new reports and dashboards using Epicor tools (BAQs, dashbords).
  • Assist in system governance practices that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance (FAR/DCAA, CMMC readiness).

Systems Integration Support

  • Assist with monitoring and supporting integrations between Epicor and external platforms including Salesforce (Endowance), Arena PLM (CADLink), and future enterprise applications.
  • Help troubleshoot integration-related issues and coordinate resolutions with internal team members or vendors.
  • Support data validation efforts to ensure information is synchronized correctly across systems.

Upgrades, Patches, & Testing

  • Support and manage Epicor and integration upgrades, patches, and testing cycles across Pilot and Live environments.
  • Help validate BAQs, dashboards, and customizations after updates.
  • Support UAT planning, test script development, user coordination, and deployment.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Support efforts for defined enterprise KPIs and metric frameworks with leadership, targeting ~95% automation of operational dashboards.
  • Design, build, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards that integrate data from Epicor, Salesforce, PLM, and other systems.
  • Deliver analytics that support strategic initiatives, backlog management, COGS reduction, margin improvement, cash flow optimization, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Support assurance that SharePoint becomes a central hub for dashboards, documentation, and reporting.

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Help identify cross-functional process improvement initiatives to address bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and improve end-to-end visibility.
  • Assist with developing SOPs, documentation, and training materials.
  • Support technology adoption, training to enhance user engagement, and system ROI.

Future System Support

  • Support evaluation and potential deployment of new enterprise applications (MES, Workday, QMS, PLM enhancements).
  • Assist with data mapping or preliminary integration planning.

Backup IT Support

  • Provide occasional support for user provisioning, password resets, MFA troubleshooting, and related tasks.
  • Assist with compliance documentation, access audits, and record keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in ERP administration, business systems analysis, or related technical support (Epicor strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, defining scope, documenting system specifications, and leading solution design and related initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SQL, API integrations, data modeling, and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Strong analytical abilities with a track record of driving measurable improvements in efficiency, automation, and business performance.

Preferred

  • Experience with Epicor, Salesforce–ERP and PLM–ERP integrations (Endowance, CADLink, or similar).
  • Manufacturing or defense industry background.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DCAA requirements and CMMC / NIST 800-171 compliance practices.

Physical Parameters:

  • Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.
  • Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion
