Summary

Serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a primary focus on supporting and enhancing the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system, particularly with accounting and order processing. This role is responsible for managing system integrations and third-party applications connected to the ERP, as well as facilitating seamless data exchange between the ERP and proprietary company products.

What You Will Do

· Provide in-house consulting to end users on JDE and integrated business systems.

· Cultivate cross-department collaboration and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers and external contacts.

· Troubleshoot and resolve support requests or assign to Developer, and coordinate resolution with business users, internal teams and external vendors as needed.

· Learn and understand internal business processes and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.

· Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to the development of project scope and charters.

· Develop project estimates for new development and enhancement initiatives.

· Evaluate upgrades, requested features, enhancements, and new development to help determine viability and options; provide feedback to Project Management and business stakeholders.

· Evaluate vendor and third-party systems for integration.

· Function as a liaison between the development team and business users by gathering requirements and coordinating testing of JDE business process enhancements.

· Document business and functional requirements, project constraints, assumptions, risks and dependencies, including those specific to JDE and integrated business systems.

· Communicate business requirements to the software development team through detailed documentation such as specifications, statements of work and project plans to support the implementation of new functionality and enhancements.

· When needed, develop and execute detailed test cases to ensure solutions meet project requirements.

· Manage the job scheduler, support day-end processes and monitor integration processes.

· Monitor data integrity and coordinate corrections via configuration, programs or SQL.

· Create and maintain system documentation, including project best practices, procedures, user guides, etc.

· Configure or update system settings, application processing options, versions and security configurations.

· Actively participate as company representative at vendor user group meetings and conferences.

· Provide system and integrations training to new developers, contractors and team members; assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members.

· Assist Project Managers with capturing meeting action items.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in business/information systems/information technology (or a satisfactory combination of education and experience).

· Solid understanding of business processes, systems analysis and application support.

· At least two years of experience in IT systems analysis or business analysis.

· At least two years of experience supporting ERP systems, with a focus on accounting and order processing functions.

· Experience with system integration concepts and tools (e.g., APIs, middleware, EDI).

· Experience with third-party applications commonly integrated with ERP systems.

· Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.

· Experience developing documentation, test plans and user guides.

· Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) is beneficial.

Position Travel Requirements

10-15% travel to support IT needs across company offices.

Typical Work Schedule

Normal business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Some off-hour work may be necessary to oversee deployment of system changes or major system issues.

On call every 3rd week to respond to after-hours system alerts and monitor any issues with day-end processing jobs.

FLSA Status

Salary exempt position; not eligible for overtime pay.

Peak Work Time Requirements

Position typically requires 40 - 45 hours a week. Peak business in late January may require an altered schedule for IT on call support. Some weeks may require additional hours due to business needs or travel.

Working Conditions

General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment.

Scope of Accountability

No supervisory responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,679.77 - $79,098.22 per year
