Role: Business Systems Analyst

Rate: $45.81–$52.65, dependent on qualifications and experience

Start: 01/01/2026

Duration: Through Sept. 2026

Description of work / project:

Our apps are backend-heavy, and the candidate needs to be comfortable understanding the technical aspects of the applications.

• Job duties:

o Works with the delivery team and key stakeholders to develop project documentation, including initiation, scope, estimates, schedules, and cost-benefit analysis.

o Provides guidance and options on technical solutions and collaborates with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist or new solutions are feasible.

o Collaborates with the business units/pillars in defining and meeting their strategic objectives and goals through analysis and determining solutions to problems or opportunities.

o Thorough understanding and analyzing of databases to understand the E2E business process flow

o Evaluates Business Processes to create efficiencies either by eliminating waste or automating business processes using technology.

o Applies Business Architecture principles during business analysis activities

o Conducts feasibility studies market analysis, and assists the business in justifying an investment change through business case development, proof of concepts.

o Conducts business and system risk assessments and ensures system requirements and proposed solutions are traced back to the identified risks.

o Conducts strategic analysis - defines current and future state and performs gap analysis.

o Assesses enterprise limitations and system impacts to addressing business requirements.

o Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements elicitation process. Analyzes, documents, and manages requirement changes in accordance with standard practice to assist in identifying business priorities, including documenting discussions, agreements, and existing processes.

o Collaborates with Product Owners, Solution Architects, System Analysts, and/or business system analysts in designing and delivering software solutions that address business requirements identified and meeting Service Level Agreements, and security requirements.

o Ensures systems analysis deliverables are documented with clarity and delivered on time. Clearly presents requirements in a format and structure that is appropriate for intended audience.

o Ensures regulatory requirements are addressed or not violated by the recommended technical solution.
