ECI is seeking a Buyer to join our team in Anoka, Minnesota. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

This position will be responsible for the timely ordering of raw materials from NRI suppliers. This includes contacting suppliers to place P.O.’s; assure best pricing; the receipt and imputing of acknowledgements; and expediting as needed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to adhere to and maintain all the Quality and Company standards established by NRI Electronics, Inc.
Perform the purchasing functions related to the timely receipt of materials through the issuance of P.O.'s.
Preparation of RFQ.
Maintaining the MRP system with current and accurate information relating to suppliers and trade agreements.
Ensure accurate and complete paperwork as it relates to all purchasing activities to assure MRP system accuracy.
Support and enforce company Quality, Safety, ESD, and Company Policies as they relate to their responsibilities.
Assist in the training of others, while striving for ongoing improvements as they relate to department policies.
Other duties as assigned
2 to 5 years’ experience in the field of purchasing with a key focus on material MRP computer system activities.
A minimum of a high school diploma with additional job related and/or special training in purchasing applications.
Good communications and interpersonal skills required.

Primary Location, Work Arrangement & Eligibility
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Anoka, Minnesota.
Remote or hybrid options are not available.
Relocation assistance is not provided; candidates must be local or able to relocate at their own expense.
