As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilizing historical usage, sales forecasts, company inventory policies, cash considerations and other pertinent information develop a material plan to include min/max, receipt schedules and availability
  • Secure and maintain accurate lead times within the system
  • Track parts availability and provide status on all assigned materials
  • Provide timely and accurate placement of purchase orders relative to the material plan to include the placement of a large quantity supported by delivery of small quantities
  • Initiate the return of early receipts and other non-conforming receipts back to the vendors with appropriate credit
  • Monitor assigned inventory balances for usage and disposition of inactive inventory
  • Ensure that vendors meet on-time deliveries with quality product/service
  • Ensure a competitive price for assigned materials
  • Maintain objective vendor performance data to include significant cost variations, quality and schedule performance
  • Maintains library of vendors and manufacturers catalogs and services.
  • Assists Marketing Department in pricing bids.
  • Assists in periodic and annual inventories.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Excellent cross-functional teaming, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree, post-secondary education, training in aircraft maintenance, or equivalent education or experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following verbal and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills; Office Administration background a plus.
  • 3 or more years of Planner and/or Buyer experience with aircraft strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, climbing and lifting, bending, reaching to shoulder level, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED:
  • ERP systems, Excel for tracking, Microsoft programming for team communications.
  • Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines, support servers,
  • 3D and Label printers, handhelds and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • This position will reside in an office inside an aircraft hangar, computer rooms, various offices/departments throughout the facility.
OTHER DUTIES:
  • May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
  • Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
