  • Develop and execute buying plans for assigned product categories, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and financial targets.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, achieving the best possible cost of goods sold.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, tracking product performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize product assortment and maximize profitability.
  • Work closely with the Buying/Commercial teams to develop and implement promotional plans, ensuring alignment with buying strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular store visits and market research to stay informed about competitor activities, consumer preferences, and emerging trends.
  • Manage the Open-to-Buy (OTB) budget, ensuring that purchases are within budget and aligned with financial goals.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve buying processes, enhance efficiency, and drive cost savings.
