Infosys is seeking a C++ Developer primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Programming: C++
Scripting Language: TCL, Python, Perl, Unix Shell
Application Server: Weblogic, Apache
Platform: Unix, Linux
DevOps tools: Jenkins, Jira, SVN, Gitlab
Database: ORACLE, SQL

Preferred Skills:
Perform issue triaging and resolution interfacing with client, business and application stakeholders
Retrieve application logs, platform logs, system logs, OS logs and network traces to understand the issue and support in troubleshooting
Prepare and publish root cause analysis (RCA) details for the issues in production and pre-production environments
Perform defect prevention activities and improve over-all product quality and customer experience
Lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes
Contribute to building efficient programs/ systems and help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey
Collaborate with client, business and development teams across SDLC stages and support in release planning
Implement and support disaster recovery and restoration strategies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
