Cabinet Manufacturing Plant/Floor Manager

We are a growing custom cabinetry shop specializing in frameless cabinets, operating two production lines with advanced CNC and edge-banding equipment. We’re looking for a hands-on Plant/Floor Manager to oversee day-to-day shop operations, staff, and equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations, ensuring jobs flow on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Supervise, train, and support shop staff (CNC operators, assemblers, finishers).
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of CNCs, routers, saws, and edge-banders (Chinese machines/software).
• Coordinate material flow, inventory, and job staging.
• Implement and maintain shop safety protocols and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot machine or process issues to minimize downtime.
• Report on productivity, efficiencies, and bottlenecks to ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking shop (frameless experience preferred).
• Proven leadership skills — ability to direct a small team while working side by side.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and shop maintenance routines.
• Familiarity with Chinese cabinet machinery/software is a plus (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mentality — willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
