Position Summary:
Seeking a skilled Designer with experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software to support the design and development of private and municipal infrastructure projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to produce precise, detailed construction plans including stormwater infrastructure, site layouts, civil details, and related facilities. Your work will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed, and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with design modifications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar drafting software.
• Experience with private and/or municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., stormwater, site layout, water/wastewater, site utilities) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Associate's degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Considering candidates that reside near Niceville and/or Cape Coral, FL areas.
