CAD Designer/Drafter

CAD Draftsman - Description

**We are only considering candidates who currently reside in Hawaii to fill this position.**

Jayco Hawaii is an architectural metal company, based out of Kapolei, HI on the island of Oahu. We fabricate and install architectural metal and glass products (handrails, guardrails, louvers, trellises, canopies, etc.) for both commercial and residential projects.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

• Experience and comprehensive working knowledge of CAD software is a must.
• 5 years minimum experience with construction drawings.
• Computer skills and use of Microsoft Office is required.
• Strong organization, self-management and people skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Efficient, results oriented, resilient, flexible and goal oriented.
• Well organized and able to multi-task.
• Teamwork and strong problem solving abilities.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
• BA/BS degree with engineering/construction/architecture related curriculum is a plus.
• Knowledge of architectural design process and construction documents.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Wed design experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 +/- per year (Based on Experience)

• 8 hour shift (OT as needed)
