CAD Designer/Electrical Automation Drafter

As a CAD Designer/Electrical and Control Circuit Drafter you will be responsible for control system documentation from start to finish. This includes interaction with engineers to define scope, create design documents, and provide production assistance to our panel shop.

General Responsibilities:

• Control system documentation
• Management of customer design standards
• Drafting of electrical wiring, layout and BOM drawings of Control

Panel & Systems, including PLC’s.

• Drafting layout of Control Panels and associated components
• Drafting and creation of bill of materials, assisting with ordering

parts, RFQ’s, etc.

• Researching appropriate use of components
• Completing red-line mark-ups
• Creating/Maintaining/Organizing CAD library
• Documentation revisions
• On-site Red-line Capture

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associates Degree or equivalent

experience

• Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical & AutoCAD training is preferred
• Must have 1+ years of Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical design experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
