CAD Draftsman – Interior Fit-Out Company (UAE Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced CAD Draftsman to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, and previous experience working in the UAE fit-out industry. You will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, detailed shop drawings, and coordination drawings for interior, joinery, and MEP layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed interior and joinery shop drawings as per project requirements.
• Work efficiently with Xrefs, Dynamic Blocks, Layer Management, Paper Space/Layout, and other advanced AutoCAD functions.
• Coordinate drawings with design, MEP, architectural, and site teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Update drawings based on site measurements, consultant comments, and change requests.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Support project managers and engineers with timely submission of drawings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of CAD drafting experience in an interior fit-out or joinery company.
• Preferred UAE experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including advanced commands such as:
• Dynamic Blocks

• Attribute Blocks
• Layer states & standards
• External references and model coordination
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, details, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of materials, joinery details, and local construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure on fast-track projects
