Job Overview

The CAD Operator will be responsible for preparing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and structural plans to support engineering and construction projects. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting tools, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and coordination with multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and structural plans using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Convert design concepts, sketches, and calculations into precise engineering drawings.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Assist engineers in creating shop drawings, as-built drawings, and presentation drawings.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, codes, and project specifications.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Perform quantity take-offs and assist in material estimation when required.

Qualifications

Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship (Civil).

Preferred: Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.

Experience

5 to 7 years of experience in CAD drafting within civil, structural, architectural, or construction projects.
