Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to an enjoyable shopping experience for our clientele.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
  • Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and stocked checkout area, ensuring products are readily available.
  • Assist in restocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or directing calls.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to perform product demos and upsell products when appropriate.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage stock efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
