Job Title:CAMBRIDGE ADVANCED LEVEL TEACHING POSITIONS (AS/A LEVEL & CAIE Teachers)

The NEST School established in 2022 offering IB (International Baccalaureate) & CAIE (Cambridge) boards.

Grade Levels:

  • AS & A Level (Cambridge International / ASA) – for Physics, Biology, Psychology, Business Studies, Economics, Maths, English
  • CAIE Secondary Education – for Chemistry, Art & Design

Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality, learner-centric instruction aligned with Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring strong academic outcomes, concept clarity, and holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Learning

  • Plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned to CAIE/AS–A Level curriculum framework.
  • Use differentiated pedagogy to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Integrate ICT tools, digital resources, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and term plans as per school standards.
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CAIE guidelines.
  • Provide timely feedback to students to support academic growth.

B. Academic Administration

  • Maintain accurate student records, portfolios, grade books, and reports.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments, checkpoints, and Cambridge exams.
  • Develop question papers, rubrics, and marking schemes following CAIE norms.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, internal moderation, and departmental reviews.

C. Student Support & Well-Being

  • Mentor students for academic improvement and subject-related competitions.
  • Support students in coursework, research projects, and extended learning tasks.
  • Ensure emotional, social, and academic well-being in the classroom.

D. Professional Expectations

  • Attend training, workshops, and Cambridge professional development programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to school-level initiatives.
  • Uphold school values, child protection policies, and safeguarding standards.
  • Participate in parent meetings, PTMs, open houses, and school events.

Eligibility

  • Masters in the respective subject from a recognized university (Mandatory).
  • B.Ed or equivalent professional teaching qualification.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of teaching experience in Cambridge IGCSE / IB / ISC (Mandatory).
  • Experience with international curriculum (in preparing students for CAIE/AS-A Level) board exams preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
