Cambridge English Teacher - Gr.4-6

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking an experienced English Teacher with strong subject expertise and proficiency to effectively develop the essential language skills, additionally leading our literary program at ABODE, with a focus on nurturing creative writing skills among students.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate child-centric behaviour and use positive language and interactions with children.
• Develop and deliver engaging English lessons, aligning with the school's curriculum, focusing on key language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing feedback and support for improvement.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies, including differentiated instruction, to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Leading the literary program and fostering creative writing skills among students.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Exhibit readiness to learn and adapt to new philosophy.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English / Education.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• 2–5 years of teaching experience in Cambridge or international curriculum schools.
• Certification in CELTA / TESOL / TKT (optional but desirable).
