Brand Ambassador – Legal Cannabis
Location: NYC Area | Role Type: 1099 Contractor | Must be 21+

Are you energetic, outgoing, and passionate about the cannabis industry? Join our team as a Brand Ambassador and help grow our presence in dispensaries across New York City! This is a hands-on role where you’ll represent our legal cannabis brands, build relationships, and create exciting experiences for staff and customers.

Hours & Schedule:

• Wed–Fri: 3pm–6pm
• Weekends: 10am–7pm
• Minimum 6 hours/week, maximum ~15
• We only need someone with some availability — not full availability

Transportation:

• A car is preferred but not required

Territories:

• Manhattan
• Staten Island (about 3 hours/week or 1 demo if only covering Staten Island)
• Brooklyn/Queens
• Bronx/Yonkers
• White Plains

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attend dispensaries and professionally represent our legal cannabis brands.
• Educate staff and customers about products.
• Distribute promotional items and branded swag.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers, budtenders, and other industry contacts.
• Be a positive, enthusiastic, and reliable face of the brand.
• Support the growth of our brand presence in the NYC market.

Compensation:

• Base Pay: $100 for the first 3 hours
• Transportation Stipend: $25 flat
• Total for first 3 hours: $125 (equivalent to $41.66 per hour)
• Additional Hours: $28 per extra hour worked
• Example: A 3.5-hour shift = $100 + $25 + $14 = $139 total
• Payment issued as an independent contractor (1099) via mailed check

Ideal Experience:

• Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.
• Brand ambassador experience is a plus.
• Budtenders are acceptable candidates.
• Candidates outside the cannabis industry must have a strong track record in demo work.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
