Job Summary: The Capital Campaign Manager will provide leadership and coordination for Vision House’s upcoming capital campaign, ensuring successful planning, organization, and execution of all philanthropy campaign activities. This campaign will fund an expansion of Vision House’s program to serve families experiencing homelessness through transitional housing, childcare and supportive services. This role requires exceptional project management, relationship-building, and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders in achieving campaign goals. This position is designed as a 2–4 year term, with the potential to pursue future opportunities within Vision House as they become available.
The Children’s Village Phase 4 capital project is a planned 42,000-square-foot facility designed to address critical community needs by expanding transitional housing and childcare services in Renton. This new building will significantly increase Vision House’s capacity to provide care and support for families experiencing homelessness. The total project cost is estimated at approximately $20 million.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, nonexempt, Monday-Friday, some weekend and evenings required
TRAVEL: Some travel between Renton and Shoreline Campuses required

As a Capital Campaign Manager you will:
Campaign Planning and Coordination

Serve as the day-to-day point person for the Vision House capital campaign, ensuring alignment between internal teams, external consultants, and leadership.

Plan and coordinate all aspects of the capital campaign for the philanthropy team.

Partner with the Director of Philanthropy, Philanthropy Officer and Executive Director to plan, organize, and manage all phases of the capital campaign.

Develop and maintain campaign timelines, task lists, and reporting systems.
-
Coordinate with external consultants, staff, and volunteers to ensure alignment and progress toward goals.
-
Provide regular progress reports to leadership and the campaign committee.

Coordinate campaign meetings, agendas, and follow-up communication.

Track and report on campaign performance, donor pipelines, and key metrics.
Donor Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship

Support major gift officers, leadership, and volunteers in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting campaign prospects.

Support major gift officers, leadership, and volunteers by organizing meetings, preparing materials, scheduling donor visits/tours, and documenting outcomes.
-
Prepare donor materials, proposals, and presentations.
-
Maintain accurate campaign records in the donor database and ensure data integrity.

Oversee the acknowledgment process for campaign gifts and pledges, including pledge agreements and donor recognition plans.

Coordinate with grant writers to align capital funding proposals and reporting with overall campaign strategy.

Partner with the Marketing team to develop campaign collateral, proposals, presentations and supporting materials for solicitation efforts and reporting.

Work with the Events team to plan and execute cultivation and stewardship events such as large fundraisers, small gatherings, and celebration events.

Work with the volunteer coordinator to identify and oversee campaign-specific volunteer opportunities.

Represent Vision House in presentations to community groups, churches, businesses

Attend networking and other events to represent Vision House

Participate in call campaigns as needed

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Adhere to the Vision House Donor’s Bill of Rights

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Capital Campaign Manager candidates should have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience, including navigating ambiguous situations

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in fundraising
-
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities

Progressive experience in fundraising, including capital campaign management, preferred.

Knowledge of major gifts fundraising, as well as capital campaign strategy and implementation
-
Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfort speaking to large groups and representing Vision House at external events
-
Working knowledge of donor databases and CRM systems; experience with DonorPerfect preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).

Demonstrated passion for hospitality, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for fostering positive connections with individuals through warm and engaging interactions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive environment

Comfort in giving group presentations preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to take direction from different departments

Ability to work occasional Saturdays and/or evenings
