JOB DISCRIPTION:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• A professional approach must be adapted with all patients, staff and visitors.
• Follow all Clinical safety, hygiene, infection control protocols to be adhered to (e.g. wearing gloves when required, aprons, hand hygiene, etc)
• To take charge of the ward by knowing the patient’s status, any major issues at night, any urgent work like shifting to OT.
• Treatment sheets are to be written with diagnosis in capital letters. Each treatment sheet should be dated, named and signed by the writing doctor. Doctors should refer to the progress notes while writing treatment sheets.
• Required to accompany Consultants for rounds and taking notes as required
• Take an update in the following days’ patients discharges from the deputed shift nurse or floor supervisor/ Incharge
• Attend all post operative patients regularly and write post op orders & treatment sheets.
• All post Op patient’s dressings should be checked regularly and change it as and when required as per the frequency mentioned in the treatment sheet.
• Constant monitoring of the patients.
• RMOs are required to constantly look at furthering their skills or upgrading their education
• Working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties.
• To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.
• Taking round of the designated floor to check on patients admitted.
• Relative’s signature & plan of care to be completed while taking admission.
• Required to Provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other specialty RMO to provide service to the hospital.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
