Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial construction projects, capable of performing a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and cabinetry. The carpenter will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality craftsmanship, timely completion, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks, including framing, installing drywall, building and installing cabinetry, and constructing wood structures.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine project requirements.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden fixtures in accordance with design plans.
• Build and install frameworks, scaffolds, partitions, and other structures.
• Ensure the accurate installation of materials and components to meet quality standards and specifications.
• Assist in the construction of staircases, flooring, roofing, and other wooden features.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing wooden structures and installations.
• Work collaboratively with other contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and tasks completed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a carpenter, preferably in a general contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, blueprints, and construction drawings.
• Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to carpentry work.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced carpentry tasks such as custom cabinetry, trim work, or cabinetry installation.
• Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques.
• Ability to speak Arabic is a plus
