Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman with proven UAE experience in a joinery factory to supervise and coordinate a team of skilled carpenters and craftsmen. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth execution of joinery works, maintaining high-quality standards, productivity, and safety within the workshop and at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and joinery workers in the production and installation of wooden furniture, doors, cabinets, partitions, and other interior elements.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily work schedules to ensure timely completion of production targets and project deadlines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
• Ensure materials are used efficiently and production is carried out according to quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with production managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve technical or manpower issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skills and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Report daily progress, manpower utilization, and material requirements to management.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and performance standards within the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in joinery and carpentry work, including at least 5 years in a supervisory/foreman role in the UAE.
• Strong background in joinery production, assembly, and installation (interior fit-out, furniture, doors, cabinets, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, health & safety regulations, and joinery factory procedures.
• Ability to manage deadlines, resources, and a multicultural workforce.
• Diploma or certification in Carpentry / Joinery / Civil / Interior Fit-out is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
