. Job Purpose

To provide excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The cashier ensures smooth billing operations and supports overall store efficiency.

2. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet customers politely and assist with inquiries.
  • Provide product information and guide customers when required.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

Cash Handling & Billing

  • Operate cash register, POS system, barcode scanner, and card payment machines efficiently.
  • Process cash, card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and credit notes as per company policies.
  • Ensure cash drawer balance at the beginning and end of the shift.

Sales Support

  • Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Ensure packing of items is neat and secure.
  • Support sales floor team during rush hours if required.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Follow cash-handling procedures and anti-theft guidelines.
  • Maintain proper records of daily sales and cash reports.
  • Report discrepancies immediately to the supervisor/manager.

Store Maintenance

  • Keep the checkout counter clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Ensure packaging materials (bags, tapes, tags) are always available.
  • Check functioning of POS machines and report issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
