Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team. The cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring a smooth and pleasant checkout experience, and maintaining accurate records of sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and provide correct change to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and refunds.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments or staff.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels at the cash register and report low stock to management.
• Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and escalate to the supervisor when necessary.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security, and safety.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in transactions.
• Friendly and approachable attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Work Environment:

• Retail setting, fast-paced.
• Interaction with customers and team members.

Salary: Full Time – 14k to 16k

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
