Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all emergency and trauma patients promptly and assess their clinical condition.
- Perform primary management — airway, breathing, circulation, and other emergency interventions.
- Conduct thorough clinical examination and document patient history, diagnosis, and treatment given.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and perform minor procedures as required.
- Coordinate with specialty consultants for further management or admissions.
- Ensure proper handover of patients and update case details in the casualty register and EMR (if applicable).
- Monitor admitted patients in the casualty observation area and update consultants regularly.
- Assist in resuscitation and emergency procedures (e.g., CPR, intubation, suturing, catheterization, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and readiness of the casualty area.
- Participate in emergency drills, CME programs, and continuous learning activities.
- Ensure timely reporting to seniors and maintain professional conduct at all times
