Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize sales, profitability, and market share for your assigned category.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and competitor activity.
  • Manage the product lifecycle within your category, from sourcing and selection to launch, optimization, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, merchandising, marketing, and sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable purchasing agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze category performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in retail and category management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Category Management role, preferably within the Retail/Beauty sector.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market research methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Arabic (highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant category management software.
  • Must be currently residing in Kuwait with a valid Iqama.
