Roles & Responsiblities
Category & Commercial Strategy:
- Build the accessory business from the ground up — including product strategy, sourcing network, and
channel roadmap.
- Identify white spaces and high-potential sub-categories through deep market and customer insights.
- Create a compelling value proposition and product positioning for each accessory segment.
- Drive the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for new products — including pricing, channel selection,
packaging, and communication.
- Develop sales kits, training modules, and product documentation to enable frontline selling.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term category strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and
market share targets
- Conduct detailed market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify trends, gaps, and new product
opportunities
- Own pricing, positioning, and assortment strategies to optimize category performance across
channels
Product Management & Development:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from concept, development, and sourcing to end-of-life
decision
- Define product specifications and user requirements for new accessory development.
- Prioritize product roadmap in alignment with category growth targets and customer needs.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches in collaboration with marketing and sales.
- Track product performance and lead corrective actions for underperforming SKUs.
Vendor & Supply Chain Management:
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendor relationships, including negotiations for cost, lead time, and
quality.
- Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and timely
replenishment.
- Manage due diligence and vendor audits.
Channel & Promotion Support:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Digital, Retail, SCM) to ensure seamless
category launch and scale-up.
- Define merchandising and promotional strategies for both offline and online channels.
- Coordinate with retail, e-commerce, and digital marketing teams for effective product visibility and
sell-through.

- Monitor category KPIs such as sales, GM%, inventory turns, returns, and customer satisfaction.
